Blacklist Monitoring is a Tool that watches your sending infrastructure for blacklist appearances and alerts you the moment a listing happens. Add IPs and domains, pick how often they’re checked, and Spotzee runs scheduled checks against 70+ real-time blacklists (RBLs) plus domain-based blacklists (DBLs) on the domain side.
Blacklist Monitoring lives under Tools in the project sidebar and uses credits from your organisation’s balance. The tool is read-and-write: you add resources, run checks, and configure groups; Spotzee handles the actual checking and alerting.

Why monitor blacklists

Email deliverability is reputation-sensitive. A single listing on a major RBL can drop a sender’s inbox placement to zero overnight, often without any obvious symptom from the sender’s side until campaigns start failing. The integration:
  • Watches IPs (IPv4) against major RBLs.
  • Watches domains against domain-based blacklists.
  • Schedules checks on each resource by group (daily or weekly).
  • Sends digest alerts within an hour of a new listing being detected.
  • Tracks history over a rolling 30-day window so you can see whether a listing was a one-off or an ongoing issue.

Pick Blacklist Monitoring

Choose Blacklist Monitoring. You’ll land on the Overview tab if monitoring is already enabled, or a setup screen if it isn’t.

The Overview tab

The Overview is your at-a-glance health view. Four statistics sit at the top:
StatWhat it carries
Total IPsThe number of IPs you’re monitoring
Total domainsThe number of domains you’re monitoring
Currently listedHow many resources are blacklisted right now
Checks todayTotal checks run in the past 24 hours
A 30-day history chart sits below the stats showing listing counts over time. Sustained spikes mean a recurring listing problem; isolated bumps usually mean a transient listing that cleared.

The four tabs

The Tool has four tabs:
TabWhat’s there
OverviewStats cards plus the 30-day history chart
IPsThe list of monitored IPs, their statuses, and per-IP actions
DomainsThe list of monitored domains, their statuses, and per-domain actions
SettingsRBL type selection, default notifications, group management
For each, see the dedicated guide:

Credit usage

Blacklist checks consume platform credits from your organisation’s balance. Each check costs roughly the same regardless of resource type. Keep an eye on your credit balance under Billing to avoid alerts pausing because credits ran out. For more on credits, see Billing and credits.

Next steps
