A single Spotzee account can belong to more than one organisation. Each organisation has its own projects, team, billing, and role list. The switcher in your profile menu moves you between them.

When you’d have more than one

Common cases for membership in multiple organisations:
  • Agencies running marketing for several clients.
  • Consultants advising more than one company.
  • Multi-brand operators with separate organisations per brand or business unit.
  • Contractors brought in temporarily by different clients.

Switch organisations

1

Open the profile menu

Open the profile menu, the affordance that shows your name and avatar.
2

Choose Switch organisation

Pick Switch organisation to see every organisation you belong to.
3

Pick the organisation

Choose the organisation you want. You’re redirected to that organisation’s projects page.

What changes after switching

Switching context swaps out everything organisation-scoped:
  • Projects you can open.
  • Team list (organisation Admins page).
  • Billing subscription and credit balance.
  • Organisation settings.
  • Your role may differ. You might be owner in one organisation, member in another.
Your account itself doesn’t change. Same login. Same profile preferences (language, theme).

Identify the current organisation

When you’re not sure which organisation you’re in:
  • Open Settings in the organisation menu and check the organisation name.
  • Look at the projects list. Each organisation has its own projects.
  • Check the URL. Some pages include an organisation identifier.

Create another organisation

Open the profile menu and pick Switch organisation. The organisation list page has the option to create a new one. Follow the prompts to name it and complete setup. You’ll land on the new organisation’s onboarding wizard so you can stand up your first project there.

Tips for working across multiple organisations

A few practices that prevent context-mistake mishaps:
  • Open different organisations in separate browser tabs or windows so you can compare without switching.
  • Check the active organisation before destructive actions (deleting users, changing billing, removing team members).
  • Use clear project names that include the brand or client name when you split a single book of work across organisations.
